Signorile Apartment, Corso Galileo Ferraris

This is the Crocetta type specimen: a 1931 signorile block, five floors, marble stair, a porter who has been there twenty years, and a planted courtyard behind that most of the neighbours' buildings do not have.

The apartment is on the third floor facing the corso, which means double aspect, plane trees at window height in summer, and — on a clear winter morning — the Alps standing at the far end of the street. It has been lived in rather than staged; the kitchen is 2009 and works, the bathrooms are original 1990s and will want replacing.
