Overview
Attics in the Quadrilatero are usually a compromise: low headroom under the eaves, a terrace you can put two chairs on. This is not that. The roof was rebuilt in 2018 with the ridge raised to the maximum the permit allowed, so the living space holds three metres across its full width, and the terrace runs the length of the building.
The east-facing half of the terrace looks across the rooftops to the Mole; the west half gets the sun until it goes down behind the Susa valley. Both are usable from March to October, which in this city is the whole argument for buying at this level.
Downstairs the building is what the Quadrilatero always was — narrow, old and slightly crooked. The lift was added in 2018 and reaches the top floor, which is not true of most of the street.
